The story of Kirobo
133 years ago, a coin was designed in honor of Queen Ranavalona III of Madagascar. The coin was called the 'kirobo'. However, the queen hated the design, so the coins never entered circulation, and only a handful have survived until today.
One of these valuable collector's items sits in our offices and it inspired the name of our company. Why? Because in Malagasy, ‘kirobo’ means ‘quarter’ - and it's around a quarter of all cryptocurrency that's being lost because of the problems that we want to solve.
We decided to pay tribute to this amazing piece of history by enabling our community to own one of these coins in NFT form and get the chance to do their thing, fee-free.

Every NFT begins its life with 2,500 - 100,000 KIRO, but it's easy to top up, and even grow, your NFT. They're governed by our 'use-to-earn' mechanism, which awards KIRO to your NFT every time you use the Liquid Vault.

We scoured the earth to find artists to design our NFTs. We told them our story and asked for their interpretations, and finally selected the designs of seven talented people.
The Liquid Vault is compatible with all NFTs, and the interface displays the artwork in gallery form, so you can fully enjoy them every time you open your vault.

They work with any dapp in the Ethereum ecosystem that has 'Wallet Connect'. Just connect the dapp to your Liquid Vault, use it as you usually would, and you'll get your gas paid back!
All the user needs to do is hold 1,500 KIRO in their Liquid Vault, and every time they use the platform, their NFT will receive additional KIRO. The amount received is calculated with points assigned to vault activities and the multiplier of a user's NFT. THe multiplier is based on the amount of credit in an NFT - the less credit it has, the higher the multiplier. You can supercharge your multiplier too - for more information, check out the whitepaper!
Because in that time you can build up quite a windfall! And you can redeem your credit early too if you wish. The amount received is calculated with a formula explained in the whitepaper.

Your NFT pays your gas fees in KIRO, which is locked for a period of 36 months.
No. The multipliers are recalculated every month, according to how much credit is held in an NFT. In addition, users can supercharge their multipliers by holding KIRO in their Liquid Vaults.

Your NFT entitles you to ten transactions a month via the Safe Transfer platform, and access to a private Discord channel where you'll get exclusive updates about Kirobo.
